How to start a stock pile

I had someone recently email me about stock piling items.  Here's a great article about where to start your stockpile.  I never pay more than 25 cents for toothpaste.  I usually can get it free with register rewards or extra care bucks, etc.   We've got enough toothpaste to last us the rest of the year.  Likewise, lately I've been getting lots of free pasta and rice.  My pantry is pretty stocked.  People have teased me that I could feed an army with what we've got in our house.  Of course, it took awhile to get to this point though.
