Last weekend, I needed to go grocery shopping because we had been gone for a week & had no food in the house.  I used only one coupon but purchase a ton of items that were on clearance... lots of bread, meat (4 kinds), veggies (kabob veggies, cole slaw, salad mix) plus diary.

All of this cost $31.25

Sloppy sliders

I made these Sloppy Sliders a week or so ago & they were good!  I'm looking my crockpot especially on hot days where I don't want to heat up the kitchen with the oven.

Crockpot BarBQ chicken sandwiches

I'm embarrassed to tell you about this dinner.  It was SO easy but so good.  I used chicken breasts but you could use any meat you like pork, beef brisket, etc.  I generously sprayed my crockpot with Pam. I put 3 frozen chicken breasts in & added about 1/2 cup of barbq sauce.  Any kind you like will do.  I added enough that covered all the meat.  I cooked on low for 2 hours and it was done.  I shredded the chicken with 2 forks then put into hamburger buns.  Added some corn on the cob and dinner was done. :)

Grilled Lemon & Herb Chicken Packets

I made this for dinner last night but substituted chicken instead of salmon.  It cooked up on the grill in about 20 minutes.  I just cut up baby carrots in small slices and used those instead of  matchstick carrots.
